Take the Narrow Path
God is so good, and before today is over I want to share what He put on my heart.
While meeting for discipleship today we were on the topic of the popular mentality of "I'll do it my way" versus taking the narrow path, accepting Jesus's love and truth and following Him, because His will and love for us is unwavering.
The Bible is perfect instruction to follow the path, God’s instruction, breathed out by Him (2 Timothy 3:16) on how to live a life more Holy, with the free gift of eternal life that is offered to all by means of faith and repentance in Christ. (side note: and this is expressed and carried out in our life by continual faith and repentance.) This narrow path IS looked at as more difficult, yet it is the ONLY way of life with set instructions. What is difficult and challenging is going about your own way, which has 10,000 options and only momentary pleasure that can be followed by fear, guilt and shame. That sounds a lot more difficult than the narrow path with all the instruction you need. It is beautiful and comforting knowing even all of the forces of darkness cannot stop God's will. (Isaiah 14:27) He knows the way, because He is the way. (John 14:6)

All scripture is breathed out by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, throughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Faith does not make things easy, it makes things possible. (Luke 1:37)
For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken, says the Lord who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54:10)
The Lord is near all who call out to Him, to all who call on Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18)
Love must be sincere, hate what is evil, cling to what is good. (Romans 12:9)
