Happy Thursday ya'll!

This protein shake recipe has a little background story.

Last week I spent time vacationing in Gulf Shores, Alabama with two of my sweet sisters Mackenzie and Makenna. My goal on this trip was to not gain weight. This crazy awesome thing happened and I lost 4 LBS!? I will tell you, lot of my weight loss had to do with my sleep schedule. I currently I wake up at 4:00am to train clients and my day ends around 7:00pm. Timing meals around training can be a task, because I want to eat for proper health and digestion. OF COURSE, I STRUGGLE TOO. In addition to getting normal hours of sleep on vacation for a whole week, us ladies also did our own grocery shopping! This is a great idea if you have a kitchen or refrigerator. We saved money eating at home and we knew exactly what we were fueling our bodies with.

We went to the beach everyday so that meant we could perhaps lose track of time and forget to consume enough calories. These afternoon protein shakes became the Holy Grail to staying on track. Ya'll I ended up having one of these every day on our vacation, they were THAT good. I also had a request from my sister, Mackenzie, to post the exact recipe so she can replicate it at home!

Before I let you in on the recipe for THE WORLD'S BEST protein shake, you will need a blender and frozen bananas are preferred.

1/2 Frozen Banana

1 Cup Ice Cubes

1 Hefty Handful of Spinach Leaves

1/4 Avocado

1/4 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt

1 1/2 Cup Nut Milk

1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein

2 Tbsp Stevia

1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Combine and blend until smooth. I recommend adding the ice cubes gradually!
